Where the LR Flanged Fits
The LR thermal mass flow meter measures gas mass flow directly by the constant-temperature-difference method, without needing external temperature and pressure correction. The catalog lists gases such as air, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, hydrocarbon gas, natural gas and coal gas, across industries including petroleum, chemical, steel, metallurgy, power, light industry, medicine and environmental protection.
The flanged version covers DN25 to DN150. The same family also offers thread (DN25 to DN50) and insertion (DN125 to DN2000) versions.
Construction and Specifications
The meter is for stable single-component or mixed dry gases, excluding acetylene and hydrogen. Accuracy is ±(1.5 + 0.5 FS)%. Normal medium velocity is 0.56 to 56 Nm/s, with an extended range to 100 Nm/s by arrangement.
Medium temperature is -10 to +100 °C or -10 to +200 °C, and ambient temperature is -20 to +45 °C. Pressure rating is 1.6 MPa standard, with 2.5 or 4.0 MPa special. The body is 304 or 316 stainless steel with IP65 protection.
Outputs include 4-20 mA, pulse, RS485 and HART, plus 1 to 2 relay alarm contacts. Power supply is DC24 V or AC220 V with power consumption of 18 W or less.
