Where the Compensated LUGB Fits

Vortex meters measure volumetric flow, but gas and steam density changes with pressure and temperature. The compensated LUGB corrects for that so the reading reflects standard volumetric or mass flow, which matters for steam billing and gas measurement where conditions vary.

Construction and Specifications

The model code offers five compensation options: A none, B temperature, C pressure, D temperature and pressure integrated, and E temperature and pressure split. Choose the option that matches how your process conditions vary.
Flanged sizes run from DN15 to DN300, with DN350 shown. Accuracy is class 1 for liquid and class 1.5 for gas. Medium temperature versions cover -25 to +80 °C standard duty and -25 to +250 °C or -25 to +300 °C high temperature. Pressure ratings are 1.6 MPa, 2.5 MPa or 4.0 MPa.
The body is stainless steel 304 with an aluminium alloy converter housing and IP65 protection. Output is pulse or 4-20 mA, with RS485 available.

Ordering Guidance

Tell us the medium, pipe size, the normal and maximum pressure and temperature, and the flow range. We will confirm whether temperature, pressure or combined compensation is required and select the matching model code option.
